Metrolink’s Holiday Toy Express Arrives in Buena Park December 22nd

Metrolink’s Holiday Toy Express Arrives in Buena Park December 22nd

Free traveling show features lights, music and Santa!

Ring in the holiday this year by heading over to the Buena Park Metrolink Station on December 22 at 7:30 p.m. to greet Santa as he rides in on a sparkly train sleigh. Now in its 16th year, the festively decorated 450-ton Metrolink Holiday Toy Express showcases over 50,000 lights, a musical show featuring jolly Santa Claus, and a gift collection.

Each year, the Holiday Toy Express travels through 44 cities in six counties entertaining families and collecting toys for the less fortunate. Families who come to the station to enjoy this free show are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys for the ABC7/Spark of Love Toy Drive.

Local firefighters typically collect more than 100,000 toys during the season when the Holiday Toy Express is in town. The toys are distributed to families in local communities that may not be able to afford gifts this holiday season.

The Buena Park Noon Lions Club is again the kind sponsor of this year’s event.

The Buena Park Metrolink Station is located at 8400 Lakeknoll Drive (at Dale Street), in Buena Park. For the Metrolink’s Holiday Toy Express full schedule, please visit www.metrolink.com
